Under the Job Services Australia contract, there is an option to offer clients work experience.
Work experience covers a mine field of legal, duty of care and insurance issues.
To address this need we have just released a 250 page manual made up of 5 sections:
1. Introduction 2. Work Experience Pre-Training Program 3. Client handout and checklists
4. Employer handbook and checklist 5. Master templates
plus, handouts in a PDF Format and Master templates provided on a CD-Rom as word documents for you to customise and add your logo.
The Manual is designed to be used over and above the DEEWR guidelines.
Section 2 is designed for face-to-face pre training including topics such as:
Introduction Why Work Experience, Research Your Career Options, How to find an employer, Resume, How to Contact Employers,
OH&S Your Safety Counts, Dress and Grooming, EEO & Anti-Discrimination, Employability Skills, On the Job, Work Ethics, Get Ready
and Client Support.
